I've been coming here for years. It's very much like a Chicago Hot dog spot, with and awesome variety of items on the menu, great food and always outstanding service. PLUS a quick and easy drive thru window

I have eaten at Jester's MANY times, but among some of my favorite dishes are the Gyros Plate which is incredible, AND it comes with a greek salad and soup as well! The Chicken KaBob is one of my all time favorites, which they pair with their homemade tzatziki sauce that is to die for. The Hot dogs, chili dog & bratwurst are all favorites of ours as well. They change their soups daily, my favorites are definitely the Avogolemeno, broccoli cheese & Tomato Rosamarina. Jesters is owned by a father and his two sons and they're always incredibly friendly to everyone and very happy to accomodate any special requests that you may have. Do yourself a favor and go try them out, you'll be happy you did!

The food was great and even the service was great, but the restaurant itself needs a major overhaul.
The girl that was taking all of the orders and working drive thru clearly actually enjoys her job and the regulars she serves. She was really nice an enthusiastic.
I ordered the chicken kabob dinner which was fanTASTIC. We used to get the kabob plates at Kabobs in west Dundee but since they changed to Jimmys, we have been missing our usuals. The dinner came with rice, potatoes, pita bread, and chicken mixed with peppers and onions.
We actually waited over fifteen minutes for our food. Which was starting to get irritating as it almost felt like they forgot about us. There were at least ten orders after ours that got their food before we did. I'm not sure honesty what the entire hold up was but I do feel it was worth it. I could understand some of it probably actually came from what we ordered as it was all freshly grilled chicken with peppers and onions, but I'm thinking the wait should have been at least a little shorter.
The worst part of the entire visit wasn't the wait, though, it was the entire interior of the restaurant. Sticky everywhere. Everything I touched was sticky. My feet stuck to the floor. And it was just overall very grubby. I saw a lady go into the bathroom and walk right back out and tell her friend she would go elsewhere because it was gross. The air in the restaurant is very irritating to the eyes because of the smoke and grease from the grills. This is a good place with good food, but the interior is SO off putting. Next time we would definitely go through the drive thru and park. Especially if it requires a 15+ minute wait.
We will definitely return, but you can tell by the past THREE YEARS of reviews that the interior has been a common complaint. For a place this good that's this popular, you would think they would care enough to at least keep it clean if not updated. -

Can't beat the price and quality of food and the speedy service. We go here quite often and look forward to going back.

I would give it a 3 point meh. Gyro was ok, it had good flavor, but was very dry. Hot dog and fries were as expected and good. Atmosphere is great, and very friendly staff. I'll go back some time give it another go.
